Speckled b-mix with wild clay hand painted on top. Featuring meadow-rue, a native plant found in wet seasonal creeks and shady spots of the chaparral. 

Anstine-Audubon nature preserve is an 11 acre nature preserve, and this clay was found in the riparian forest, known for nurturing sycamores, oak and tulle. I returned to this clay whenever I took breaks at work to create sculptures I eventually returned to the creek.
